Please join the Minnesota Evaluation Association (MNEA) and the Twin Cities Research Group (TCRG) on Wednesday, May 9 for a presentation by the American Public Media (APM) Research Lab staff on results of the Minnesota Public Radio News | APM Research Lab 2017 Ground Level Survey of Minnesotans!
Given the rapid economic, demographic, and political changes that our state has been through in recent years, we wanted to better understand what is on the minds of Minnesotans. What divides us? What unites us? What are our common aspirations now?
APM asked a representative sample of more than 1,600 Minnesotans—from the Twin Cities and throughout Greater Minnesota and our major regional centers—what they think about everything from their own personal finances to the future of our state. Their responses provide insights on politics, immigration, health care, the environment, and more.
Come and learn about the results of the most in-depth survey ever conducted by MPR News, and the first major original research conducted by the newly-formed APM Research Lab. Please forward this invite to your colleagues who may be interested in this research.
This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the approaches and methodologies the APM Research Lab used for this survey, which corresponds to the Methodology Domain of the AEA Task Force's drafted competencies.
This event is free to MNEA and TCRG members and $5 for non-TCRG and non-MNEA members. There will be light refreshments starting at 5:30 and a dessert reception following the presentation.
Date/Time: Wednesday, May 9, 5:30 to 7:30pm
Location: Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), Kling Public Media Center, 480 Cedar Street, St. Paul, 55101
