Making Connections - A Monthly MNEA Series

Join MNEA's new series called "Making Connections," a low-key monthly event prioritizing connection and community-building for our members. This series will have in-person and virtual opportunities. This month, we will be meeting in-person for coffee/tea and food at a newly opened coffee shop called Flava ("Flay-va") Coffee & Cafe (women-owned and Black-owned)! When entering, look for a table with a piece of paper with "MNEA" written on it. If the weather is nice, we may be outside!

This event will be hosted by Molly O'Connor (president-elect) and Ava Yang-Lewis (program co-chair). When this event is in-person, we plan to rotate locations and times every month to make this event more accessible for folks who cannot make certain events due to time or transportation constraints. When this event is virtual, it will be over Zoom.

COVID INFO: If the weather is nice, we will find a table outside. If the weather is poor, we’ll plan to meet indoors. Please bring masks (we will try to have some on hand). There is no expectation of wearing your mask indoors, but please have one on hand if it is requested by a fellow member. And, of course, do not attend if you are COVID positive.

Next month (November), our Making Connections event will be virtual. Look for an email with further information in October.
