With the 2020 Census on the horizon and increased conversations about identity in America, the role of demographics is as important as ever.  Join the Minnesota Evaluation Association (MNEA) for a conversation around how evaluators and researchers approach demographics as part of our evaluation practice and what contexts we should consider when “defining” demographic categories.

This event will be a World Café style discussion where, in small groups, we can share best practices and discuss the complexities of demographic categories such as Race/Ethnicity, Gender, Sexual Identity, Socio-economic status, Education and Immigration status.  Be prepared to bring your thoughts, ideas and questions around these categories and the impact the way we ask them can have on others.

This event is free to MNEA members and $5 for non-MNEA members. There will be light refreshments available.  This event will be held on Thursday, June 13, 5:30-7:30 PM at Youthprise, 3001 Broadway St NE Suite #330, Minneapolis, MN 55413.

This event is SOLD OUT. However, this event will be held again in St. Paul on August 6, 5:30-7:30 at Wilder Center
