Management Analyst III with Dakota County.  As a professional in the Office of Planning and Analysis, the Management Analyst III conducts advanced level research and analysis, prepares findings and recommendations, and presents the results of their work to internal project sponsors. Research Associate at Rainbow Research.  Rainbow Research Inc. is seeking an energetic and dedicated professional to join our team as a full-time Research Associate. The Research Associate will be responsible for supporting Rainbow’s organizational goals and will work closely with the Executive Director and Senior Research Associates in planning, developing and implementing research and evaluation projects, trainings, capacity building activities and other technical assistance and consulting services.  Some of the primary duties of the position include: work with project teams (made up of Executive Director, Senior Research Associates, Research Associates and Research Assistants) to conceptualize, coordinate, and conduct evaluation, research, and capacity building projects on budget and on time; assist to create theories of change, logic models, evaluation plans and supporting documents; conduct qualitative and quantitative primary data collection; analyze and interpret findings; and write reports, make presentations and prepare other products that meet the needs of the client and other stakeholders.  More information about the position can be found HERE.

Survey and Research Specialist, Minnesota Department of Human Services.   This position serves as the Department's technical expert and director of opinion research. The incumbent manages department policy involving survey research, coordinates consumer surveys across the department, and provides qualitative and quantitative survey research services. The incumbent consults with the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners, members of senior management team, other state agencies, and DHS business units on all types of opinion research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys putting a practical application to the rigor and challenge of survey research. Volunteer Opportunity

The Performance Standards Technical Advisory Panel to the Steering Committee on Performance Outcomes and Reform (PO&R) is seeking 3 or 4 volunteers who have one of more of the following skills or experience:  Developing, implementing, or assessing performance measurement standards for human service programs; working with continuous quality improvement efforts in human services settings.  Familiarity with county-provided human services in Minnesota would be helpful but not necessary.
As a Panel member you will be asked to: review discussion materials prior to meeting; attend two meetings in St. Paul and; review and comment on the draft report to the Steering Committee.  Video-conferencing will be available. Volunteers may expect to contribute a total of approximately twelve hours for analysis and meeting time from January through March 2012.
